The ceremony will be both live at the park and broadcast on Zoom, FIOS, Optimum and MCN. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Island Road, followed by the ceremony held at Veterans Memorial Park, at the corner of Franklin Tpk. The annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 29, 2023. KIDS ONLY!! Trouts Unlimited volunteers will be there to help us to measure each fish that is caught! We promise… it will be a reel good time for the whole family! The Fishing Derby is Rain or Shine.
Bring your own fishing poles… catch and release only! Prizes will be awarded to contestants ages 5 through 13 based on size and the number of fish caught. The contest is open to residents and proof of residency will be required at registration.
